In this role the candidate will be collaborating with product team members and be responsible for providing architectural strategy, technology solution and guidance to operationalize Industrial System Project Synergy Operational Data Platform ensuring alignment with overall enterprise architecture strategies.
Responsibilities
- Define the technical stack and provide reference architecture patterns
- Provide architecture guidance for the Master Data Management (MDM) strategy
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to define business data domains, its ownership and guide to establish system of record and source of truth
- Support the PDO team’s intake process, translate business requirements to provide technical solutions
- Provide a comprehensive migration strategy to consolidate into single operational data platform
- Establish architecture principles, best practices, and guidelines
- Define and document technical architecture, application integration diagrams and data models in corporate repository
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools based on performance, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in data architecture and industrial systems
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- 8 years overall IT experience including progressive IT experience in architecture.
- 5 years of Systems Engineering experience in one or more areas of Industrial Systems – Product Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality etc.
- 4 years of hands-on Architecture experience
- 5 years’ experience in Googe Cloud Platform (GCP), Web and Cloud technologies including PaaS/CaaS/IaaS
- Understanding of Data Centric Architecture, Data Warehouse, Data Mart Concepts
- Knowledge of Master Data Management concepts and tools
- Experience in GCP Big Query, PostgreSQL, Aloy DB, Mongo DB
- Knowledge of REST APIs, API security, OAuth, SAML, OpenID, SSO, JWT, microservices architecture and implementation
- Functional and Architecture Experience with one or more PLM platforms (e.g., Siemens’ Teamcenter, Dassault’s 3D Experience)
- Functional and Architecture Experience with one or more SAP platforms (e.g., ERP, MRP)
- Ability to lead and support process, information, application, and solution architecture design and deliverables for large-scale development programs.
- Expertise in interoperability standards and methods
- Knowledge of frameworks (TOGAF, BizBok, DAMA), architecture patterns, and reference architectures
- Strong ability to self-manage and develop work plans that employ appropriate methods to resolve ambiguity and build consensus for an architectural solution.
- Experience in dealing with external suppliers/vendors concerning consultancy and/or purchase solutions.
- Self-researcher with the ability to research a technology and provide insight to the project team
