Title: Entry-Level Collections Representative

Location: Gibbsboro, NJ 08026

Salary: $18-20/hr to start (future commission with potential of $50-60k/year)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Overview

While prior collections experience is a plus, we welcome candidates with strong customer service or call center backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow in a new field. Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds and assist in resolving account balances.
• Communicate professionally and effectively to negotiate payment solutions.
• Learn and apply basic medical billing terminology (e.g., co-pays, deductibles) as needed.
• Read, understand, and interpret account details, including payer denials.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when handling account information.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, call center, or phone-based roles.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in collections.
• Previous experience in collections or medical billing is a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
