WWRR owns the services and programs for FBA Sellers to choose how Amazon handles their customer returns and value recovery channels. As a Finance Manager, you will business partner with WWRR leadership to develop and implement the financial strategy to optimize returns management while improving Seller Experience and scaling profitable solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing financial KPIs to measure program performance, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with product managers, operations partners, program teams, legal, tech teams, and data engineers to build financial models that solve Seller pain points while driving sustainable growth.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. - Develop and implement financial frameworks for FBA returns management and value recovery programs
- Lead financial modeling and analysis to optimize seller economics in returns processing
- Create scalable financial solutions for seller pain points in the returns ecosystem
- Drive alignment on financial strategy across
- Design financial models to evaluate and optimize value recovery channels
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses of returns management programs and services
- Develop pricing strategies for FBA returns services
- Identify opportunities to improve financial outcomes in returns processing
- Establish and track financial KPIs for returns management and value recovery programs
- Build automated reporting systems for operational and financial metrics
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify efficiency opportunities
- Create financial dashboards for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to translate financial insights into program improvements
- Lead financial assessment of new returns management services
- Develop scalable financial solutions for growing FBA seller base
- Guide investment decisions for returns processing infrastructure
- Collaborate with Operations, Product, Legal, and Tech teams on program implementation
- Drive financial planning discussions with multiple stakeholder groups
- Lead financial advisory for technical requirements and program specifications
- Build strong partnerships across WWRR organization
Business Focus
- Lead weekly business reviews with WWRR leadership
- Create financial models for new seller initiatives
- Partner with Operations on capacity and costs
- Analyze trends and forecast impacts using SQL/Excel
- Build monthly business review materials
- Deep dive into program performance metrics
- Collaborate with Data Science on dashboards
- Review pricing strategies and fee structures
- Visit returns centers to understand operations
- Meet cross-functionally with FBA, Tech, and Ops teams
- Present financial analyses to stakeholders
- Develop strategic recommendations for leadership
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 5 years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3 years of finance experience
- 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
