Position Highlights
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs activities involving maintenance, support, installation, upgrading, and monitoring of IT equipment. Installs server-based software and hardware, resolves desktop, server, application and network-related problems. Leads with the identification and implementation of facility-wide IT projects and provide software and technology recommendations.
Essential Functions/Detailed Duties
Resolves requests for service related to use of computers and related equipment and applications.
Maintains work area and supply inventories.
Assists with training as assigned.
Assist with training staff to new programs/review of current programs.
Communicates frequently in person and/or over the phone with people in a number of different locations on technical issues.
Interacts with many people of differing professional levels and to succeed in an environment of competing priorities.
Performs system diagnoses and repair, as needed.
Assists with diagnosing and resolving problems with printers, copiers, and networks.
Position Qualifications
Ability to maintain and set up IT hardware systems.
Working knowledge base of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Trouble shooting abilities to work with hardware and software.
