As an entry level telemarketer/ lead generator you play a crucial role in generating leads and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls to potential clients, promote our Sleeper’s mattresses, and secure the sale.

West Coast Furniture Division with Leggett & Platt - is looking for a confident and highly motivated individual that's interested in a great entry level telemarketer/ lead generator opportunity. As an entry level telemarketer/ lead generator you play a crucial role in generating leads and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls to potential clients, promote our Sleeper’s mattresses, and secure the sale.
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers and introduce them to our line of sofa sleep mattresses in a professional environment
- You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy sofa sleeper’s mattresses. A successful telemarketer must be friendly and persuasive.
- Identify and qualify potential leads through effective questioning techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions in a log
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about mattress options.
- Use scripts to provide information about product's features, prices etc. and present their benefits
- Record the customer's personal information accurately in a computer system
- Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
- Maintains phone time or sales as determined by management.
- Other duties assign by Supervisor.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in English
- Ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude. Create relationships from a cold start.
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
- Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
