Job Summary
Reporting to the Plant Manager of our Birds Eye Foods plant in Darien, WI, you will direct plant personnel in the operations area to produce the best quality product possible, at the least cost standards. You will coordinate the availability of raw materials; ensure the functioning of production machinery is adequate to meet production demands. You will develop and schedule necessary personnel to meet all production demands. You will partner with HR for personnel issues, including interviews, hiring, evaluations, corrective counseling, and further training. You will work the hours of 10 pm to 6 am Sunday through Thursday and occasional weekend shifts.

You are occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell. You must occasionally lift and move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Compensation
Pay Range:$79,000-$115,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.

You Will
- Oversee production line supervisors to ensure product is produced according to Company specifications and meet production, usage, and labor goals.
- Allocate labor to meet Company standards.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the plant production areas.
- Assure work force is trained in job requirements.
- Ensure flow of critical information to all levels and shifts of plant management.
- Coordinate production requirements with maintenance and engineering.
- Promote continuous improvement in production process to improve safety, cost effectiveness, and product quality.
- Assure safety awareness and training is provided by supervisors.
- Report ingredient usage and labor figures for proper costing and recall requirements.
- Share important metrics with supervisors to promote continuous improvement.
- B. S. degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Biology, Industrial Management, or related field from a four-year college or university
- Four to six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the food industry;
- The ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, supervisors, and employees.
- The ability yo interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
