Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Pulmonary Function Testing with precision and adherence to quality control measures.
- Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction by delivering compassionate and professional care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, nursing personnel, and physicians.
- Accurately gather and exchange patient information with relevant healthcare providers.
- Utilize computer systems to input and manage data accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and creatively solve problems without immediate supervision.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills to support patients and families under physical and emotional stress.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and customers.
- High level of interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care and information exchange.
Knowledge/Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in Pulmonary Function Testing, including quality control measures.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; candidates without BLS certification must obtain it within six months of employment.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed with the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Current license with the State of Montana as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Registered Pulmonary Therapist preferred.
