Qualifications And Requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor’sdegree from an accredited nursing school.

Qualifications And Requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor’sdegree from an accredited nursing school.
Additional Requirements Include
- One (1) or more years of experience in an acute care setting and/or geriatric setting preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- 12 Bed Unit
- 1:6 Patient Ratio
- 10–12-day LOS
- Patients receive therapy daily, participate in activities and communal meals
- Therapy staff has a large presence on this unit as well and works collaboratively with nursing.
- Option to work every 6th weekend, no mandatory overtime (three shifts per week only)
- Extremely flexible scheduling options
- Provider coverage on unit to provide nursing support 24/7
- Admissions and discharges are planned well in advance, so it is much less turnover for patients than an inpatient setting
