Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist provides patient care assessment and treatment. Responsible for mentoring Students and other Rehab Services personnel as assigned. Collaborates with other healthcare team members and physicians in a multi-disciplinary fashion to deliver the highest quality of care. Participates in CQI activities. Facilitates the provision of excellent customer service.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited School of Speech Language Pathology.
- None.
- Current NC Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologist temporary or permanent license in Speech Language Pathology. Clinical Fellowship Year or Certification of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Analytical abilities to delegate personnel, problem solve with positive solutions. Good interpersonal and communication skills required to facilitate interactions with stated customers and staff members.
- Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, temperature changes and occasional noxious odors. Stressful work periods occasionally encountered.
- Standing for most of the day lifting/assisting patients with transfers, bed mobility and ambulation as well as their exercise programs.
