Description

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Buyer with experience in materials procurement to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in OEM, raw materials, construction, manufacturing, or similar industries, and possess advanced MS Excel skills. This role requires proficiency in using ERP & MRP systems, as well as management or supervisory experience. A bachelor's degree is required, and experience in "Play Manufacturing" (tree houses, fountains, splash pads, jungle gyms, etc.) is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the procurement process for materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to meet demand
• Utilize ERP & MRP systems to track and manage procurement activities
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies
• Lead and mentor a team of buyers and procurement specialists
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in materials procurement (OEM, raw materials, construction, manufacturing, etc.)
• Advanced MS Excel user
• Proficiency in using ERP & MRP systems
• Managerial, supervisory, or lead experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Preferred experience in "Play Manufacturing" (tree houses, fountains, splash pads, jungle gyms, etc.)
  
  

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
