We are in search of a Sr. Buyer to become an integral part of our team. Based in San Marcos, Texas, this role presents an intriguing contract to permanent employment opportunity. In this role, you will be immersed in the industry, tasked with managing buying processes, maintaining accurate records, and handling customer inquiries.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the entire buying process in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, specifically Epicor, for effective management of buying processes.
- Ensure efficient processing and maintaining of accurate customer credit records.
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Utilize 'About Time' and other relevant tools to manage and monitor customer accounts.
- Engage in accounting functions and manage Accounts Payable (AP) effectively.
- Utilize your Chef skills to effectively manage resources and processes.
- Employ excellent communication skills to ensure smooth operations and interactions.
- Take appropriate actions based on the monitoring of customer accounts.
- Proven experience as a Senior Buyer or a similar role
- Proficiency in using chef software for task management
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Experience with Epicor software for business management
- Understanding of ERP solutions for business process management
- Familiarity with 'About Time' software for time and attendance tracking
- Ability to handle accounting functions effectively
- Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
- Understanding of buying processes in a corporate setting
- Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and team members effectively
