Kaeser Compressors, Inc. is seeking an individual who has worked in an industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environment to fill the position of Technical Document Specialist for our location in Fredericksburg, VA. We are looking for a detail oriented individual with technical writing and editing experience, that can work effectively with spreadsheets and presentations.

Job Description

The selected candidate will:

• Create, maintain, and verify all technical documentation, including but not limited to engineering data, service manuals, work instructions, and specifications
• Assist with new product design and development milestones as well as product release schedules
• Manage content on internal platforms for nationwide work groups
• Create and analyze reports of critical department processes on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure a high level of quality and efficiency
• First point of contact for many technical requests throughout the organization
• Coordinate the development of new department work instructions and procedures. Ensure existing department work instructions and procedures are up to date.
  
  

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate’s background will include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Expert verbal and written English proficiency
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• SAP experience (preferred)
• Customer service experience in manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred)
