JOB SUMMARY:
Responsibilities
Responsible for teaching, planning, organizing, and supporting on the job training for employees within the Airframe & Powerplant Apprenticeship program at Textron Aviation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
I.Prepares course outlines, develops, and provides training aids, schedules, and conducts training activities emphasizing safety.
II.Communicate with the leadership and customer groups to identify and prioritize training needs for A&P Apprentices.
III.Establish and maintain training records for all employees enrolled in the Apprenticeship program.
IV.Revise curriculum content and support new curriculum development.
V.Serve as an advisor to all assigned employees and prepare employees to successfully complete the FAA administered Airframe and Powerplant exams.
VI.Review individual on the job training and military experience, identifying gaps within employee experience.
VII.Maintains contact with colleges, public schools, related companies, training organizations and associations regarding new training developments and educational programs.
VIII.Maintains training records and course materials.
IX. Maintain a high level of expertise in subjects taught

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Airframe & Powerplant license required
- Bachelor's degree preferred or in lieu of degree 5 years of relative military/technical hands on training experience required
- Experience as an A&P mechanic
- Verbal and written communication skills in a professional business environment; including, grammar, ability to communicate with varying levels of professionals, and vocabulary
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Customer focus; demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external customers and have a desire for strong customer service
- Conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional in PC skills; including, MS Office and general database management
- Presentation skills with various group sizes, comfortable with hybrid course delivery methods
- Bias for customer service- proactive communication to customers and team members, delivers on commitments, and is knowledgeable and accurate regarding expertise and safety requirements
