Position Summary:
The Internal Events Coordinator plays a key role in fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture at LEO Events. This individual will lead the planning and execution of internal events, oversee LEO Gives nonprofit initiatives, and champion workplace culture programs. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Internal Events & Gifting
- Plan, coordinate, and execute internal events, including meetings, team-building activities, and company celebrations.
- Manage event logistics, budgets, and timelines to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage internal gifting fulfillment and oversee.
LEO Gives Program Management
- Lead internal nonprofit initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
- Manage the submission and approval process.
- Oversee fulfillment, execution, and performance tracking of LEO Gives programs.
- Identify opportunities for program improvement and implement enhancements.
- Build relationships with external partners to secure goodwill, sponsorships, and pro-bono opportunities for LEO Gives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote the company’s philanthropic efforts.
- Manage budgets related to office and culture-related initiatives.
- Travel as needed to support LEO Gives event.
Content Creation
- Develop engaging and informative content for internal presentations using PowerPoint templates.
- Collaborate with various teams to gather information and create compelling materials that support culture-building and nonprofit initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in program management or event planning.
Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content.
- Willingness to travel 4–5% and to work nights and/or weekends as needed
Environmental Conditions and Physical Demands:
Employee required to spend a portion of time in a seated position looking at a computer screen. Employee required to do some standing and walking. Employee will be in a well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
