Front End Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front End Manager to lead our grocery store's front-end operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales and customer service, with proven leadership skills to effectively manage a team. As the Front End Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers while overseeing daily operations at the point of sale (POS).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train front-end staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Manage daily operations of the checkout area, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in transactions.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock levels and product availability.
• Collaborate with team members to implement promotional activities and sales strategies.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-end environment that enhances the shopping experience.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Foster a positive team atmosphere through effective communication and support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems and retail sales processes.
• Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse customer needs.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices is a plus.
