Leo Tech LLC is a certified woman-owned small business started in 2015 by Melody Vansandt. She has over 24 years of experience working as a Defense Contractor and Consultant and has held positions as Director of Pricing, Contracts Manager, Program Manager, and EVM Manager.

JOB TITLE : STOCK CLERK

JOB PURPOSE :

The Stock Clerk receives stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, foodstuffs, or tools and compiles stock records of items in the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. This worker sorts or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice and examines stock to verify conformance to specifications. Stores articles in bins, on the floor, or shelves according to identifying information, such as style, size, or type of material; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; prepares periodic, special, or perpetual stock inventory; and requisitions articles to fill incoming orders. This worker also compiles reports on the use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments, may mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, may distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued, may make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock and may cut stock to the site to fill orders.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Receipt of Supply and Equipment Requests : receive supply and equipment requests and review the form(s) (i.e., AF Form 601, AF Form 9, AFMC Form 36, AF 2005, DD250, and DD 1348 -6 or through the locally developed SharePoint site) for accuracy.
  • Resolve all discrepancies with the requester within two (2) workdays before submittal to the appropriate agency.
  • Maintain current internal suspense file for equipment requests that result in the acquisition of USAF-accountable equipment
  • Weekly, the clerk shall review all requisitions provided by GPC cardholders or other purchasing routes. The clerk shall initiate follow-up action on requisitions when :
  • The item is in memo-due in / out status

  • There is no positive supply status.
  • The estimated delivery date (EDD) is not satisfactory to meet the mission
  • Requisition status notice indicates erroneous data.
  • Coordinate reportable (R14) equipment acquisitions and DPAS cataloging actions per
  • AFI 23-101 and other applicable guidance with the ECs and AFRL / APO.
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

    Must have certifications / licenses as well as the capability to work with the following operations and systems :

  • Operation of vehicles to transport equipment / material
  • Computer and Administrative skills :
  • Understand filing systems, electronic filing, creating / utilizing word documents and excel spreadsheets,

  • sending / receiving / reading / replying to email and instant messages,
  • phone etiquette and taking / delivering phone messages.
  • Government Records Management processes.
  • Training is required for personnel identified by the Contractor as a Unit Records Professional.

  • General warehouse operations and safe execution of those processes. Consistent with DoD Manual 4140.70, DoD Supply Chain Material Management Procedures for Storage Handling.
  • EDUCATION :

  • High School or GED
  • EXPERIENCE :

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience for the position
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Current Active Security clearance

Before an alcohol or drug test is administered, the applicant must sign a Leo Tech, LLC consent form authorizing the test and permitting the release of test results to the Medical Review Officer (MRO) and the designated Human Resources Representative. Failure to sign the release or cooperate in test procedures shall be deemed a withdrawal of the employment application.
