Leonard's Bakery™ has been serving high quality baked products since 1952. Our most famous pastry is the malasada, a Portuguese donut without a hole. We fry generously-sized balls of dough until it’s golden brown on the outside and light & fluffy on the inside.
We are looking for a Kitchen Worker to join our team and prepare malasada orders in a fast-paced environment. No experience is required as all necessary training will be provided. However, the preferred candidate will have customer service and restaurant experience, as well as knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Responsibilties:
- Assist with food preparation in the kitchen:
- Coat malasadas with sugar and pack in boxes
- Fill malasadas according to order
- Carry orders from kitchen to pick up window
- Announce orders and pass out boxes to customers accordingly
- Clean and restock supplies at end of shift:
- Wipe down surfaces
- Wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen equipment as needed
- Sweep and mop floors
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Must be able to stand for duration of work shift (up to 8 hours)

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
