The Position:
Leonetta is looking for a Executive Sous Chef. Leonetta is a new Mediterranean concept, serving, lunch &
dinner along with brunch on the weekends. Leonetta will be featuring a selection of farm fresh,
ingredient driven, flavor forward Mediterranean cuisine that is creative, thoughtful, and playful. We
pride ourselves by using local, natural, and working with sustainable ingredients.
Candidates should have strong communication skills & be able to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced
environment. This hands-on position requires integrity, being business minded and keeping a
positive & professional attitude. Must have an in-depth knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles
and be a creative thinker with a team-first mentality. The ideal candidate will help to create a
supportive kitchen environment that encourages and motivates members of staff in a positive way by
leading by example. To us these are as important as kitchen experience.

General Responsibilities & Duties
- Direct & maintain that the food meets the highest standards of quality & consistency
- Executing existing core menu items & upholding the Executive Chefs culinary vision
- Oversee & direct all kitchen teams in conjunction with Executive Chef.
- Make hiring decisions for the back of house and training all kitchen staff
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies.
- Manage kitchen labor, schedules, knowledge of P&L statements
- Previous experience in an all-scratch kitchen
- Optimize staff productivity
- Train values and maintain the integrity of the culture.
- Prepare daily specials
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
- Maintaining proper ordering, cost controls, inventory, and controlling kitchen waste
- Enforce & uphold the highest standards of food safety, food handling and sanitation standards &
requirements to ensure the health and safety of staff and guests.

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $85,000- $100,000 per year. The determination
of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on several factors,
including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills,
etc.
