Warehouse Order Picker - Full-time Day Shift

Warehouse associates work involves skills such as forklift operation, order pulling, picking, receiving, replenishment, inventory, and freight processing in a fast-paced distribution environment while following warehouse guidelines. The schedule available for this position is the day shift: Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. to finish).

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Order Picker is responsible for assisting the shipping department in coordinating order picking, preparation, and shipping of the company's product in a manner consistent with speed emphasis and a goal-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in expediting the daily workflow of the shipping and receiving team.
- Navigates facilities designated inventory aisles in a safe and efficient manner to ensure an optimized picking schedule.
- Item processing, including unboxing, tapping, labeling, packaging, and palletizing as needed.
- Receives instructions directly from the warehouse supervisor regarding coordinating the movement of picked products, processing goods, or completing shipments.
- Administers strategies meant to optimize organizational inventory levels.
- Uses working knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.
- General warehouse maintenance to maintain a clean working area and facilities.
- Restoration of product returns, ensuring the product has been cleaned, tested, re-packaged, and sorted according to company policy.
- Assists in inventory duties such as cycle counting and others when needed.
- Inbound container receiving which involves unloading containers and palletizing them according to company policy.
Requirements:
- Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in the professional field.
- Uses standard theories, principles, and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
- Provides direct or indirect supervision to a process, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals.
- Judgment is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of related experience required.
- Applicable industry/professional certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Experience in Machine Operating Equipment such as Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, Forklifts, etc.
