Short & Sweet : To safely operate the separators and evaporators and their associated equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures while also monitoring the quality of incoming raw material and outgoing products.
Schedule :
- 12 Hr. Shifts
- 2,2,3 Schedule
- 24 / 7 / 365, weekends & holiday's required
Job Responsibilities
Covers breaks and lunches for hourly Whey department positions
Operate the HTST, separator, evaporator and CIP system
Start up and shut down HTST, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
React quickly and adjust / troubleshoot equipment to maintain product specifications
Complete Daily Checklists
Handle and test chemicals
Enter data into MES computer system
Hourly testing of product
Recognize and communicate potential deviant situations
Communicate clearly with the Quality Department, Cheese Production Operators and department management
Apply lockouts to equipment as required
Any additional duties as assigned
