We're looking for a seasoned professional to lead our quality assurance efforts and develop training programs to support our team members.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance
This role will oversee daily quality testing, manage monthly cross-checks, and maintain training materials and schedules to support GMPs and safety policies.
Plant Quality Initiatives
You'll champion plant quality compliance initiatives and serve as a subject matter expert in applicable food safety and quality policies, programs, and systems.
Regulatory and Customer Compliance
Responsibilities include maintaining lab testing equipment, managing component summary and antibiotic testing reports, participating in corporate collaborative testing programs, and monitoring test results.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Two years of progressive leadership and management experience in quality or production in the food industry or other related field requiring regulatory compliance
- The ability to perform shift work in a 24/7 operational plant
