What you will be doing:
- Lead and manage product lifecycle from design phase to production phase through activities like requirements review, design validation plan reports and testing activities.
- Prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices, including dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD)
- Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices
- Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew
- Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment, or software.
Essential:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical design experience in an automotive or power generation engineering role
- Experience with Creo
- Understand the engineering workflow
- Ability to work on tasks independently with minimal support from others
- Experience with requirement management tools such as Windchill etc.
