What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Specialist position at Les Mills International?
About The Role:
The Business Development Specialist is accountable for supporting our Business Development team to drive net revenue growth by setting new business meeting appointments, owning the region by focusing on lead generation and data integrity for fast results.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with Business Development Managers to ensure sufficient new business meetings are generated each month to meet revenue goal.
Make outbound cold calls/emails to leads within designated regional territory to present the Les Mills value proposition.
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market by being in the know of new club opening opportunity as well as ensuring all qualified clubs are in the system
Complete research on new markets and industry trends
Follow up after calls and meetings; provide schedule analysis when needed
Responsible for updating and maintaining Salesforce data consistently and accurately
You will ideally need experience in the following:
- Interest in the fitness industry
- Minimum of 2 years undergraduate education
- Preferred at least 1 year of experience in cold calling and 1 year of experience in fitness industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be based in Chicago
