Role Overview
As part of the cabling team, your responsibilities will include installing access control systems (e.g., pulling wires, connecting components, and system programming) as well as assisting with video display and camera monitoring system installations. You'll collaborate with a team to ensure seamless setup and optimal system performance.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Required 3 years of experience working with access control systems (door access, etc)
- Hands-on experience with door hardware, electrified locks, strikes, crash bars, EPT hinges, and system troubleshooting
- Familiarity with commercial cabling (e.g., Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Coaxial, Fiber)
- Skilled in running cables through doors and other challenging spaces
- Proficiency in installing and maintaining commercial access control setups
- Knowledge of relays (preferred)
- ESA certifications or equivalent training (preferred)
- Experience with Verkada systems (preferred)
- Confidence working at heights, including on ladders, lifts, or bucket trucks
- Ability to interpret schematics and follow technical instructions
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle priorities effectively
- A commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the role
- Solid organizational and record-keeping skills
- Physical ability to lift 50-100 lbs.
- A professional appearance and punctuality
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to pass a drug test and meet age requirements (18 )

Work Location
This role involves serving customers throughout the Wasatch Front and parts of southern Utah. Work is primarily performed on-site at customer locations.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Salary : $23 - $30
