Brake & Alignment Technician
Primary Responsibilities :
- Installing or servicing hydraulic / electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
- testing and installing batteries; dismounting / mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and / or recalibrating TPMS components;
using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
Experience :
Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.
Qualifications :
Valid driver's license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds;
frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.
Pay and Benefits : $16.00 - $23.75
