POSITION SUMMARY: This position supervises the cash management specialists and is responsible for all daily cash processes, maintaining appropriate bank accounts, assisting with cash forecasting, and ensuring cash activity is recorded accurately. This position reports to the Cash Manager and works cross-functionally to support the needs of various departments.

45% Cash Management
- Review the Company’s daily cash position and allocate funds to the appropriate accounts
- Hire, train, and develop staff in coordination with the Cash Manager
- Ensure cash activity is recorded timely and accurately at Tire Centers and Headquarters
- Develop reports in the Company’s ERP (NetSuite) to identify and troubleshoot discrepancies
- Maintain bank accounts necessary to support various functions within the company
- Evaluate and propose changes to various treasury products to ensure the department facilitates transactions effectively and efficiently
- Monitor electronic payments and verify compliance with internal controls
- Maintain and administer the Company’s treasury management system (Kyriba)
- Assist with daily and month-end cash reconciliations and perform month-end processes to support the financial close
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls surrounding cash management
- Participate in relevant projects as a subject matter expert
10% Reporting and Analysis
- Work collaboratively with the Treasury Analyst to develop accurate short-term forecasts to maintain appropriate liquidity.
- Monitor and manage bank fees and relevant trends; compile monthly reports for the Cash Manager
- Prepare Know-your-customer (KYC) and other required compliance documents in coordination with various financial institutions
10% Escheatment
- Monitor and maintain the Company’s Unclaimed Property database
- Complete annual regulatory reporting for each state of operation
- Work with customers and vendors to process refunds and reissued checks in coordination with accounting
15% Support and Other
- Coordinate responses to requests submitted to Cash Management
- Support Operations, Accounting, Credit, and others with treasury and banking needs
- Research and compile information to support requests from internal and external auditors
- Support record keeping and accounting for the Company’s Retirement Plan
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field, and 3 to 5 years of finance or accounting experience required; treasury or cash management experience preferred. Comparable combinations of education and experience are acceptable.
- Ability to quickly understand complex transactions; knowledge of the banking industry and technical knowledge of bank products; ability to apply finance and accounting principles; strong Excel and Google Sheet skills.
- Ability to multitask and delegate tasks; effectively plan and set priorities; must be well organized and detail-oriented; strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to work in a team environment; good communication and interpersonal skills
- Primarily desk position; regularly required to sit, occasionally required to stand and walk. Requires frequent and repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate computer, mouse, keyboard, and office-related equipment and the ability to reach with hands and arms. The position requires lifting no more than 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus. Requires the ability to communicate verbally and exchange information over the phone and in person.
