Leading Freight Forwarder / NVOCC/ Customs House Broker/Tank Container Operator, with locations in 24 countries and over 3300 employees strong is seeking a Air Export Customer Service Representative to be based out of its Miami,FL. This position offers an exceptional opportunity.
- Coordinating air export shipments and processing the files from A to Z
- Communicating with customers, staff, vendors and overseas agents
- Provides excellent and timely customer service by proactively informing clients of the status of their shipments
- Receiving, reviewing and processing high volume, and/or complex export transactions
- Developing and maintaining excellent service to internal and external customers
- Working with airlines/trucking companies to obtain quotations and handle the movement of freight
- Responding to rates requests received from clients and overseas offices/ agents
- Arranging, booking and confirming cargo space with the carriers
- Preparing and processing House AWBs, Master AWBs, Invoices, Insurance Certificates, Certificates of Origin, Consular Documents, EEIs, etc.
- Handling the export cargo as required by the TSA regulations
- Handling the AES submissions, as per Government Regulations
- Reviews and monitors all AES data submission rejections, requests for information from clients, government agencies, and other correspondence
- Adhering to all domestic and international shipping regulations
