POSITION : This position is for a salesperson based in the assigned territory, who will report to the director or Vice President within that market. We are looking for someone who will seek out new business, someone who loves to sell products and provide solutions and has proven they can further develop an existing territory of business. This person will need to build and maintain meaningful relationships with vendor partners, our industry customers as well as be an integral part of the Lester Sales culture.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Be effective at creating new, profitable opportunities and understand the importance of finding new business
- Be humble in their approach, yet relentless in their efforts to achieve their goals
- Establish and nurture relationships with vendor’s key personnel
- Travel with vendor personnel in the territory
- Collaborate with Inside Sales to secure orders; cooperate with Post-Sales Support to resolve issues
- Have the ability to absorb information around a vast number of products, services and applications
- Be willing and able to follow a proven sales process that may appear non-traditional
- Stay informed about competitive products and services
- Utilize technology to their advantage
