Job Summary
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism? Do you believe in the power of individualized, play-based therapy to help children grow and reach their full potential? Let’s Play N Grow is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and visionary Center Director with a strong BCBA background to help bring our dream of a comprehensive autism center to life.
Let’s Play N Grow is a family-founded autism center created by parents who experienced the challenges of finding the right treatment for their own child with autism. Our mission is simple: to provide compassionate, individualized care through play-based ABA therapy, where children can thrive in a joyful, nurturing environment. We believe that treatment should be kind, never harsh, and that true growth comes from fostering a child’s unique strengths.
Our vision is to become a comprehensive autism center, integrating ABA with other modalities of care to provide holistic, evidence-based treatments for children on the spectrum. We are building a team that is passionate about what they do, finds joy in helping children grow, and is dedicated to making this center a “happy place” for kids and families alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of our center, ensuring the highest quality of care and services are provided to each child.
- Supervise, mentor, and support the clinical team, including BCBAs, RBTs, and other staff members.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based ABA therapy and oversee the implementation of these plans.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure alignment on treatment goals and to provide consistent updates on the child’s progress.
- Help shape the future of Let’s Play N Grow as we expand into a comprehensive autism center, integrating additional treatment modalities alongside ABA therapy.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, ethical guidelines, and standards of practice within the field of ABA.
- Contribute to creating a joyful, safe, and positive environment where children feel happy and excited to be at the center.
- Participate in ongoing research efforts to support evidence-based practices and stay at the forefront of advances in autism treatment.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a clinical setting with children with autism, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of play-based ABA therapy and the ability to create individualized treatment plans.
- Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children with autism and their families.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team of dedicated professionals.
- A commitment to kindness, compassion, and creating a joyful, nurturing environment for children and staff alike.
