Compensation: $400–$450 per day (2 inspections/day)
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, personable, and reliable Home Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a solid understanding of home systems, and the ability to deliver accurate, thorough inspections and detailed reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive interior and exterior home inspections per industry and company standards.
- Document findings with clear photographs and accurate written descriptions.
- Submit completed inspection reports within 48 hours.
- Communicate professionally with clients, agents, and coworkers.
- Use personal, insured vehicle to travel to inspection sites.
- Climb ladders, access crawl spaces and attics, walk on roofs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Previous home inspection experience or training preferred.
- Working knowledge of home systems and basic residential construction.
- Proficient with computers and able to learn new software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (past 5 years).
- Reliable, insured personal vehicle that can transport a ladder and tools.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and complete industry certification within 6 months.
- Physically fit for the job's demands.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Background in construction, remodeling, repairs, or real estate.
