We are hiring for a permanent PT hotel security begining in March FRIDAYS AND ***SATURDAYS 10P-6A ADDITIONAL HOURS AVAILABLE IF WANTED
PT OVERNIGHT SECURITY AS NEEDED.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, with responsibilities that include monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents. The Security Officer will utilize surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to ensure the safety of all individuals on site.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism risks.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats.
- Good communication skills for interacting effectively with diverse groups of people.
