SLS is a subsidiary of Levata, a global solution provider of supply chain automation and access control products, software, and services. SLS is a leading provider of scalable, high-performing, and high-ROI RFID solutions, featuring proprietary hardware, software, and consumables.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Business Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations at SLS, including field services, technical support and customer service teams. This role will focus on driving process improvements, enhancing sales and financial insights, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and support. The Business Operations Manager will also collaborate with other department leaders to align strategies and optimize overall business performance.
Operations and Customer Service
- Lead the field services, technical support, and customer service teams to align with business objectives and achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize sales and service performance
- Establish service delivery KPIs and monitor performance against targets
- Ensure consistent communication between sales, operations, and service teams to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
- Manage and resolve customer service escalations promptly and professionally
Sales and Financial Oversight and Reporting
- Develop and manage operational budgets; monitor and control costs
- Oversee inventory management, including builds, transfers, and adjustments in QuickBooks
- Manage sales and service-related expenses to maintain profitability and operational efficiency
- Oversee sales forecasts to align production and supply chain planning
Vendor and Supply Chain Management
- Manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials
- Resolve vendor quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed
- Create and maintain vendor reports to track performance and costs
- Oversee purchasing to align with sales forecasts and production needs
What You’ll Need:
- RFID industry experience preferred
- 5 Years of Experience in Commercial Operations and/or Customer Service Management
- Strong prioritization, execution, and delegation abilities.
- Process oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Project, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Competency with QuickBooks, Zoho, and Smartsheets, preferred
