THE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The candidates will gain experience in M&A initiatives, support strategic planning, and form relationships with senior leaders at Levata. The key activities of the internship are conducting market research that will help define the acquisition and investment strategy of Levata. The candidates will gain experience and learn how to source M&A acquisition targets, evaluate investments, conduct due diligence (including business analysis, e.g., customer trends, revenue / cost analysis), complete transactions, and assist in integrating acquisitions. The internship will serve as valuable experience for candidates who are interested in investment banking, private equity, M&A or technology corporate development.
The internship will be based at Levata’s Global HQ in downtown Chicago Loop. This is a paid internship and the average hours per week will be 30 hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates will be professional, resourceful, inquisitive, and excited to discover new insights about the technology space that Levata competes in. They will be interested in investing, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and technology. They will be adept at searching for publicly available information using online tools to research companies. The candidates do not need knowledge of accounting, finance, or private equity, but the internship offers the opportunity to gain experience in these areas.
