About the Role :
We are hiring multiple UX Design apprentices. This apprenticeship will provide hands-on experience in UX design, with a specific focus on accessibility and WCAG 2.2 compliance. The ideal candidate is excited about creating user-centered solutions, understands the importance of inclusive design, and is eager to contribute to meaningful projects that drive change.
Key Responsibilities :
Accessibility Evaluations : Use a 125-point WCAG 2.2 checklist to assess websites for accessibility barriers, identifying and documenting areas for improvement.Heuristic Analysis : Conduct usability testing and heuristic evaluations to enhance website functionality and user experience.User Research : Develop and execute research plans, and synthesize findings from stakeholder interviews and survey results to inform design direction.Prototyping and Ideation : Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts that prioritize user-centered design principles and accessibility best practices.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of accessibility features.Documentation and Reporting : Create detailed presentation decks and reports highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations for clients.Accessibility Tool Research : Test accessibility tools and document how to use them to enhance your expertise and provide a knowledge base for others to learn from and reference.Continuous Learning : Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX design, accessibility, and WCAG guidelines.Be Coachable : Stay curious and empathetic in all situations, personal and professional.
