The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight shift. This position involves managing front desk duties, performing night audits, and providing exceptional guest services. Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure all accounts are balanced accurately.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs of guests.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing hotel operations and financial performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel.
- Assist guests with special requests or needs during their stay.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and front desk operations is an advantage.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Knowledge of resort operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
