We’re growing and looking for a Payroll Specialist who can take full ownership of client payrolls and become a trusted partner to our clients.

You’ll manage all aspects of payroll for clients using Gusto or ADP—from initial setup and state registrations to tax compliance, training, and year-end filings.
Key Responsibilities:- Process all client payrolls on time (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly)
- Set up new payroll clients and register them with appropriate state agencies
- Ensure accurate payroll tax payments and that all required filings are completed
- Respond to and resolve payroll-related tax notices within 5 business days
- Issue W-2s and assist with 1099 preparation and filing annually
- Train clients on how to navigate their payroll platform and understand their role in timely payroll submission
- Support the accounting team by providing accurate payroll data
- Maintain strong, positive communication with clients
- 3 years of payroll experience, preferably with an accounting firm or payroll provider
- Familiarity with Gusto, ADP, or similar systems
- Understanding of payroll tax compliance and multi-state payroll is a plus
- Highly organized, self-driven, and client-service minded
- A communicator who brings clarity and confidence to client conversations
- Compensation: $22.00 –$31.00 Per Hour(based on experience)
