SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing Industrial Cleaning & Pressure Washing for MARTA’s Facilities. We will provide complete cleaning and wash down of Rail Stations, Parking Decks, and Facilities. Attention to detail and a positive attitude are a must. The right person is punctual, thorough, fast, and eager to learn.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adheres to the company’s safety policies and operational procedures.
- Adheres to the company’s service standards.
- Responds to communications sent from management and complete tasks as directed.
- Reports repairs and replacements as needed when encountered during service provision.
- Elevators - Clean walls, door, and glass inside and out; polish all stainless steel; clean tracks indoors on all levels, remove gum and graffiti, sweep and mop the floor.
- Escalators - Remove all dirt, remove stickers and other items, and polish stainless steel on top and sides. Remove gum from the top and bottom plates and sweep dirt from the grooves. Deep cleaning of escalator stairs is not required.
- Stainless Steel – Polish other stainless steel throughout the Stations as directed.
- Floors - Strip and seal the station floors as requested via work order by the Contract Inspector or designee.
- Glass Surfaces - Wash down all display cases and cabinets, MARTA system maps cases, advertisement frame enclosures, and glass panels within or adjacent to interior and exterior doors, windows, light fixtures, and mirrors.
- Window Cleaning - Squeegee cleans all station facade windows (where applicable).
- High Cleaning - (Heavy cleaning) of surfaces above seven (7) feet, particularly overhead signs and surfaces.
- Sanitizing – Sanitize interior surfaces to remove bacteria effectively, contaminants, or viruses which include floors, doors, elevators, water fountains, benches, trash cans, handrails, banisters, supply and return air grills, and all other horizontal surfaces below ten (10) feet, as requested by the Contract Inspector or designee.
- Restrooms - Scrub clean walls, toilets, sinks, floors, and baseboards (and ceiling if applicable). Rinse and dry all areas before re-opening the restrooms.
- Station Artwork - Some stations have artwork that must be maintained. Maintenance includes pressure washing, waterproofing, sealing, and window descaling.
- Graffiti - Remove all graffiti and stickers on station surfaces; report any graffiti that cannot be removed to the Contract Inspector or designee.
- Platform/Concourse/Plaza - Sweep and clean areas to remove all litter and pressure wash all walls and floors.
- Low Cleaning - Basic cleaning of surfaces up to seven (7) feet high. The Contractor shall not wipe or clean vending machines unless requested by the Contract Inspector before the start of each inspection.
- Signage - Remove any objects, cones, barricades, or old signs that are no longer needed, as determined by MARTA’s Contract Inspector or designee.
- Refuse Collection - Dispose of all trash and other collected waste in the nearest appropriate Authority-furnished dumpster.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Commercial Cleaning and Disinfecting experience a plus.

- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds/frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds/continually lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
- Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Pressure washers, ride-on floor scrubbers, carpet and flooring maintenance equipment, boom/scissor lifts, or golf carts.
