Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget goals are met
- Oversee planning, engineering, construction, and closeout of facility-related projects
- Prepare and review documentation including scopes of work, bids, contracts, and specifications
- Conduct site assessments and develop project plans and job packages
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners (architects, engineers, contractors, etc.)
- Monitor quality assurance, compliance, contractor performance, and safety standards
- Provide regular status reports to leadership and support project audits and closeout activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Required)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in construction, engineering, project management, or related fields
- Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles and documentation
- Experience reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and AutoCAD is a plus
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel within the NJ region and occasionally work outside regular business hours
