Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) – Part-Time (Reynolds Location)

- Part-Time: $15/hour
- Full-Time (After 90-Day Training): $20/hour
Position Overview:
Leveling Up Therapeutics is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) to work with children with behavioral and emotional challenges. This part-time position will transition into full-time after 90 days, based on successful completion of an intensive training program focused on documentation, note-taking, and treatment planning.
This role requires strict adherence to documentation standards following CARF guidelines and assisting with transportation of children as needed.
Key Responsibilities:1. Behavioral Support & Group Facilitation
- Work directly with children experiencing behavioral challenges.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and de-escalation techniques.
- Support children in developing social and emotional skills.
2. Documentation & Compliance
- Complete daily progress notes, incident reports, and treatment plans following CARF standards.
- Participate in 90-day intensive documentation training to meet strict agency policies.
- Maintain accurate and timely records.
3. Transportation Support
- Assist with transporting children to and from the program as needed.
90-Day Training & Full-Time Transition:
During the first 90 days, the QMHS will complete intensive training on:
✅ Proper documentation & note-taking
✅ Treatment planning & goal setting
✅ Compliance with CARF standards
Performance-Based Transition:
- Upon successful completion of the 90-day probationary period, this role will become full-time with a pay increase to $20/hour.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-Time Hours: Monday – Friday
- 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM (regular schedule)
- 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (on days you assist with transportation)
- Full-Time Hours (After 90 Days): TBD
- Pay:
- $15/hour during the 90-day probation period
- $20/hour after successfully completing training
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with behavioral issues required.
- Familiarity with mental health documentation & reporting standards preferred.
- Ability to follow strict policies & procedures related to documentation.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and crisis intervention skills.
- Must be willing to assist with transportation as part of job duties.
