We are growing and seeking dedicated, detail-oriented professionals to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and educate patients on eye care services and surgical procedures
- Take thorough ophthalmic and medical histories
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (OCT, topography, visual fields, IOL master, etc.)
- Provide pre- and post-operative education and instructions
- Maintain a clean, efficient, and organized exam environment
- Assist physicians and fellow technicians as needed
- Travel between locations in the Jacksonville metro area as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience in ophthalmic, optometric, or medical assisting (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Team player mindset with a passion for patient care
- Reliable transportation required
