Job Summary
Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support for the Catering Sales Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilites
- Answer telephones, emails, and direct inquiries in a professional and client centric manner.
- Maintain confidential personnel files.
- Assist management staff in preparing confidential documentation.
- Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, partners, and Supervisor.
- Create and distribute BEOs to team.
- Assist in preparing for Operations meetings.
- Review BEO before payment - using computer, making sure taxes and prices are correct leaving no discrepancy in financials.
- Assist in preparation of end of month financial reports.
- Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
- Upkeep catering sales office tidiness and organization.
- Create custom signage as needed for events.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Lift up to 25lbs
- Sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work efficiently and adapt to changes as they arise.
- Ability and willingness to learn event and creative software systems for daily job functions.
- Extended exposure to computer screen(s).
- Keep confidentiality.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on projects and tasks.
- Nice. Passionate.
