CATERING & EVENT SALES COORDINATOR
Reports to: Growth Support Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Catering & Events Sales Representative to drive catering sales and event coordination for our Champs Chicken stand-alone location in Columbia, MO and all eight Moser’s Foods locations across Central Missouri. This individual will lead sales efforts and build strong relationships with clients to expand our catering services, which include Champs Chicken, Hangar 54 Pizza, BluTaco, and our deli and bakery offerings. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Proactively call on prospective catering clients to generate leads and grow sales.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
- Serve as the primary catering contact for the stand-alone Champs Chicken and all Moser’s Foods locations.
- Promote, sell, and coordinate catering services for a wide range of events including corporate functions, family gatherings, and community events.
- Coordinate logistics for catering orders and events including planning, scheduling, timely delivery, and setup.
- Collaborate with store-level management and team members to ensure smooth execution of catering services.
- Maintain detailed product knowledge across Champs Chicken, Hangar 54 Pizza, BluTaco, deli, and bakery menus.
- Regularly travel within Columbia and the Central Missouri region to meet with clients.
- Support the Growth Support Team through cross-training and shared responsibilities.
- Maintain records of sales activities including leads, calls, follow-ups, and closed deals.
- Attend and support community events, expos, and samplings to enhance brand visibility.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within foodservice, catering, or event planning is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Columbia and Central Missouri market preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems or other sales tracking tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of catering and event coordination.
- Knowledge of foodservice operations and customer service best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask and manage event timelines effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email communication.
- Work is typically performed in both office and field environments.
- Regular travel throughout the Columbia and Central Missouri region.
- Must pass an annual Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review for insurability under company policy.
- Must be available for a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.
