Family Advocate
LCECP offers a full range of services to our families. These services are the key to family and child success with our program. LCECP is seeking a caring person, who enjoys working with families for our Family Advocate position.
Position Summary:
Our Family Advocates serve a valuable role at LCECP, by supporting family’s efforts receive to health, dental and nutrition services. The Family Advocate must understand the social services, health and dental needs of the families. We are looking for someone willing to be a partner in our family’s success. A good working knowledge of local area resources is a plus.
The Family Advocate will be responsible for:
- Facilitate regular family meetings and parenting classes
- Assess family’s needs and determine an individualized plan of service
- Assist families with self-sufficiency activities
- Accurate record keeping and strong communication with families and co-workers.

Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field
- Experience working with children and families in early childhood settings.
- Must be willing to get further education as needed/required to acquire or maintain skills.
This is a full time (40 hrs. a week) for 52 weeks. Wage will depend on experience. This position is eligible for full dental and health benefits after 90 days.
