Description
Lewis Apartment Communities is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for one of its largest and most dynamic apartment communities, Homecoming at Creekside (626 apts), located in Natomas, CA. Great opportunity for a proactive and positive team leader!
The right candidate should have a proven supervisory background along with strong experience in all aspects of general residential maintenance including:
- Management of Maintenance and Grounds staff
- Strong all-around maintenance skills in the apartment industry
- Experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and appliance (dishwashers, washers/dryers, etc) installation and repair
- Construction, renovation, and/or lease up experience a plus
- Making ready units for new occupancy
- Interaction with community manager and staff
- Walking property with community manager
- Maintaining units of current residents
- Managing/negotiating with outside vendors
- Administrative reporting and expense management
- Maintaining the leasing office and all recreation facilities
- Requires reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Other requirements include:
- Moving and transporting heavy objects, as needed
- Bending/stooping/walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community.
- Ascend/descend stairs and ladders as required.
- Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking/reading/writing English.
YOUR SALARY & PERKS: Salary for this role starts at $40-$44/hour, plus an annual bonus and annual raise eligibility. You will also receive $700 worth of tools to do your job, cell phone allowance of $100, uniforms, training, and more.
PLEASE NOTE: The hours for this position are 8 am-5 pm and the days off are Saturday & Sunday.
