MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Availability to work 1st shift (8am-4:30pm).
- Required: High School/GED diploma or another equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to type and read and well as full physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, life, reach, bend and maneuver around equipment and job stations.
- Will be required to work with computers, telephones, fax machines, and copiers. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions of the job.
- Knowledge of company products, the industry, competitors, basic business concepts and an understanding of customer needs and expectations.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Willingness to learn and participate in intense training(s).
- Must project an outgoing and likable personality.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at any given time.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Facilitates payment of vendors, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
- Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
- Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.
- Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
- Records entry of verified documents and distributes petty cash.
- Ensures all incoming telephone calls are answered by the third ring and all calls are addressed in a professional and friendly manner.
- Representation of the company both with external contacts, including customers and vendors, as well as internal employees.
- Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Other related duties as assigned.
