Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a special education paraprofessionals for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year. Must be willing and able to support students with a variety of special needs. This position would be working with K-6 populations. Must be a flexible team player and have the genuine desire to work with elementary aged learners. Must be able to assist in small group activities or work one-on-one to follow the educational support plans for the students. The starting hourly wage for this position is not negotiable, but between $19.15 and $20.71 depending on previous experience. A higher starting wage rate may be granted to applicants who hold one of the following: a current Colorado educator's license, current 5-year Substitute Authorization, RBT certification, CNA license or RMA/CMA certificate. This position is full time and would receive full benefits. Applications will be reviewed as they are received. The start date for this position is ASAP.
All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and a life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual. However, employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans. Salary : $19 - $21
