We are currently seeking ambitious and personable candidates to serve as an Office Assistant. Lewis Pest Control provides pest and termite control services to residential and commercial customers. You will make calls and schedule appointments with our residential and commercial customers and complete general office work. This position will require that you have excellent customer service and organizational skills. Responsible for ensuring Top Notch Customer Experience by all team members. Additionally, responsible for a broad scope of accounting and administrative duties
Essential Job Duties
- Work closely with Branch Manager to create a team environment producing high performance results
- Create and maintain a front office environment of Top Notch Customer Experience through example
- Assist with providing office teammates with the necessary tools, training and information to effectively perform their jobs
- Provide accurate and timely recordkeeping for all branch employees
- Maintain Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable accounts and Cash Handling procedures to company standards
- Scheduling and filing responsibilties
- Complete all Accounting related daily, weekly and monthly processing and reports per company SOPs and in a timely and consistent manner
- Recognize and proactively manage potential problems (customer, facility, etc.), including escalating to next level as necessary
- Phone skill proficiency is a must with the ability to handle a broad spectrum of calls.
- Complete required production forms at end of daily work order assignments and help maintain chemical records according to State requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Skill/Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of related experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with others, oral and written
- Friendly with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Personable, friendly demeanor with “Top Notch” customer service approach to internal and external customers
- Technologically proficient – ability to quickly learn proprietary software
- Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance
- Strong organizational skills
- Friendly with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to suggest and implement process improvement initiatives
