What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Specialist position at Lewis Tree Service?
As a Leasing Specialist, you will provide support for all clerical aspects of leasing tasks to support ongoing business growth working with our Fleet Operations. This position relies heavily on data entry and is deadline oriented.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Review equipment lease documents.
- Process monthly rental payments.
- Process equipment lease buyouts.
- Monitor sales tax compliance for leased assets.
- Prepare and reconcile weekly financing summary reports.
- Serve as Lewis’ liaison to the bank and other financial institutions regarding Fleet requests.
- Processes electronic payments and download bank statements
- Will interact with banks, other financial institutions and suppliers in verification of information for vendors including written responses or replies by phone or email.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred financial processing experience such as a bank teller or loan processor or data entry, customer service.
- Preferred Leasing and Sales Tax knowledge.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
TECHNOLOGY, EQUIPMENT & TOOLS:
- Proficient with standard office equipment i.e., computers, phones, scanner, fax, and copier.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Deadline oriented.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and organization skills.

COMPENSATION: $23 - $26/hour
