What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Nurse/EMT position at Lewisboro Day Camp?
The camp nurse is under the direct supervision of the Day Camp Operator. This position is five days a week from approximately 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. during the summer camp season scheduled to run from June 30th to August 8th. The camp nurse provides medical care to campers and will have a variety of other duties: maintaining a clean office, communicating with parents, ordering supplies, maintaining medical logs, keeping track of patients after visit, observing campers to ensure optimum health and safety levels, and maintaining first-aid kits. Required qualifications: certification as an RN, LPN, PA or EMT.
