The Lewiston and Grand Island Dance Centers’ are continuing to grow and offer competitive and recreational dance classes for all ages & abilities. At our studios we believe dance classes should be designed to develop strength, balance, grace, poise, rhythm and most importantly, self-confidence. Our classes will help students develop life skills such as; time management, teamwork, responsibility, and a good work ethic. Our students will learn in a relaxed environment where a love for Dance will become a positive and permanent part of their lives.

What will I be doing?
- Teaching Classes.
- Organizing your class time to give your students the greatest amount of instruction in the time allotted.
- Choreographing Numbers for Recital or Competition.
- Cutting music for Recital or Competition.
- Attending parades and other studio performances.
- Attending two Teacher meetings per season.
What skills do I need?
- At least one year IN-Studio teaching experience.
- Strong Teaching skills for all ages.
- Extremely organized, thorough, and reliable.
- Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve.

- Pay: Starts at $25 per class. Class times vary from 30 minutes, to 45 minutes to 1 hour.
For example:
You may be scheduled to teach two 30-minute classes, two 45-minute classes, and three 1-hour classes. For EACH CLASS taught your will receive the pay stated above. So, for 5 ½ hours of work you will receive pay for 7-classes taught.
Interview Process
- Informal interview with studio managers. If our ideals align, you will move to the next step.
- Teach a class. We will ask that you teach a small class in one of the following studies: Ballet, Jazz, Acro, etc.
- If steps one and two go well we will offer you classes of your own.
